Clearly, the "ideal" qualifications of a Brand Strategist may vary, depending on the position.

However, as a rule, the majority of successful brand strategists have excellent communication skills and never stop studying about their industry, staying at the core of developments.

In conclusion, a Brand Strategist often works under the Brand Manager or marketing team to ensure a consistent and effective brand message. They need to be proactive to anticipate future trends and success of a product or service and will develop positioning recommendations, guide market research analysis and determine brand elements and tone. Finally, it will find ways to further improve the branding of a product or service, and develop a marketing plan through analysis of current market data and trends.
